In correlation with our Flynn Theater field trip on Friday, April 17th, RES has an artist in residence. Our artist in residence is Jeh Kulu from western Africa! On Tuesday, second graders had a Flynn Theater workshop to get students prepared to see the performance on Friday. Students sang songs in a call and repeat format (typical in the Jeh Kulu performance). Students also danced and performed as a choir. Look at the videos below to see a glimpse of our workshop!
