Hello there! My name is Kristin Darling, and I teach Kindergarten at Richmond Elementary School in Richmond, Vermont. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, K-6, from Johnson State College in Vermont. I received my Master's in Curriculum Development from Southern New Hampshire University. To continue my professional development, I have taken courses in Responsive Classroom, social cognition, math, literacy, and technology. After graduating from college in 2011, I started teaching first and second-grade multi-age in a small school in southern Vermont. Here at RES, I am a part of the district mentoring program.
I was born and raised in Vermont, and I am proud to say I am an alumnus of Richmond Elementary School! I currently live with my cat Buttons, who loves to be outside! I am an avid Boston Bruins fan, a former ice hockey player, and an enthusiastic traveler.I am looking forward to sharing my passion for learning with you!
