Partner Reading #resvt

On Monday, second graders reviewed what partner reading looks like and sounds like. Students learned a poem to help remember "elbow to elbow, knee to knee, book in the middle so both can see." Each student takes turn reading a page of the book. We also learned that partners can ask questions during reading such as: "what do you think will happen next?", "this reminds me of...", "what was your favorite part?". Reading is thinking!
