Today we started our science unit on force and motion! Students were presented a problem, students had to get a heavy bucket to the top of the play structure. First students sketched how they thought they could get the bucket to the top. Next, we bundled up and went out to the play structure to test our ideas! We soon realized that we could push the bucket and pull the bucket to get to the top! Way to go kindergarteners with your science thinking and teamwork!

Force and Motion #resvt

Kindergarten students will be starting their new science unit this week all about force and motion! However we need your help with a couple of supplies to make this unit run smoothly. Kindergarten classes are looking for 2 liter bottles. If you have any that you would like to donate please bring them to your kindergarten classroom before Friday, February 16th! Thank you for your help!
